We usually start with a phone call with the client to get to know their tone, who their customers are, and goals for their business. This get-to-know you approach can also happen via email as we get to know the business.
We charge per project and hourly, and not per word. The littlest tweaks to a sentence can take different amounts of time depending on where the copy is displaying or how it is being used. Sometimes we can dip in for a quick change, and other times re-writes take longer.
